강아지들은 왜 물까요? 사실 많은 이유가 있겠지만, 제가 10가지로 좁혀봤어요. 사실 11가지긴 한데, 10가지가 더 그럴듯하게 들리잖아요, 안 그런가요? 첫 번째 이유는 태어난 형제들의 수일지도 몰라요. 제 개 스웨거는 지금 12살 반이 되었는데, 외동으로 태어났어요. 외동 강아지들은 원하는 걸 다 얻죠. 왜냐하면 배 속에 다른 강아지가 없기 때문이에요. 유일한 강아지죠. 경쟁할 다른 강아지가 없으니까요. 그래서 원하는 걸 다 가질 수 없는 사람 세상에서 자라게 되면, 강아지들은 입을 사용해서 반응하게 돼요. 그래서 스웨거는, 제가 키워본 강아지 중 가장 많이 무는 강아지라는 타이틀을 가지고 있다고 생각해요. 그리고 제 어린 강아지 프로핏도 아마 거의 비슷하게 뒤를 잇고 있을 것 같네요.
Why do puppies bite? And you know, there's probably a lot of reasons, but I've just narrowed it down to 10, actually 11, but 10 sounds sexier, doesn't it? Number one might be just the litter size that they were born in. So, my dog Swagger, who's 12 and a half now, he was a singleton and singletons get what they want because there's no other puppies in the litter. They're the only ones in the litter. There's no other puppies that you have to fight for anything for. So, when you're being raised in a human world where you don't get everything you want, then how puppies react is they use their mouth. So, Swagger, I believe has the title as the most bitey puppy I have ever raised. And I would have to guess that my young boy, Prophet, is probably running a close second.
