It's not called controlled obedience. It's called a lifetime of good decisions. The wrong choices are never impossible to my dogs. They're just irrelevant. They become irrelevant because of all the good choices they make. And they start being improbable because of the way I set up the this or that games when they're learning. It's a difference between controlling a dog's choices and teaching a dog how to choose.
