when I, oh, there it's back. When I ask the camera to focus somewhere else and then focus back in. I love that line though. The human has to hold themselves accountable to a higher, more consistent standard. Wouldn't it be great if every dog owner in the world held their selves to a higher standard than they hold their dogs? Because unfortunately most time it's the other way around. Love, love, love that line. Of course. Yes. Lori Klein says, 100%. It's up to me to put in the learnings. My dog understands what's acceptable and what's not. Hi from Germany. Hi, Helga. Just a few weeks. I will be traveling to Germany. Super excited about that trip. So excited. So a lot of yeses. Don't here. I just want to establish this is a safe space. So if you don't see how you could believe that your dog could be a success without the use of physical corrections or intimidation or averse of control. This is a safe place. So feel free to say, I don't see how that could happen. Okay. A little bit more light here. Oh, that's gorgeous. We already live in a beautiful place of positive reinforcement and free choice. Love that. Love it. So yes. Gradual steady compensation, comprehension in both languages. That's a beautiful way to put it. Wow. I hope we can download these comments because wow. Wow. I just love what, I love the insights you're saying, you're sharing because sometimes I can't even put it into words and yes, profit is going to go back to his homeland for a visit with me. So I'm just going to start with a question. Actually, I'm going to start by saying, I'm going to give away another one of my, for my Merle's favorite toys. So the gem from yesterday from Francis Fung, my gem, my gem for this live is that you, you need to have the belief and take the step forward to make things happen. If you believe that your dog can, then you incorporate proven training method that, and, and you incorporate proven training methods, trusting the process, surround

yourself with a supportive community that are like-minded. There is no reason that you cannot believe that why that belief cannot come to life. Positive training shouldn't just be for dog training. It should be how you live your life. And it will be a natural behavior that you don't even need to think about. Francis, that's beautiful. And that's the way, I mean, that's why I do what I do because I want my dogs to have an amazing life. I want the people in my life to have an amazing life. I want the people who work on the team here at Dog's That to have an amazing life. And if we all are on the same page, if we all think the same way, then even when we have disagreements, well, guess what? People have disagreements. The conflict can be resolved with mutual respect for each other, which doesn't leave hard feelings one way or the other. So I absolutely love that. Okay. So I saw a question. I'm going to just scroll back up. I have some questions, but there was a quick question I was going to say. If I don't see your question, go ahead and ask it again. So this one comes from FitClickABSweden. Swagger often has a toy in his mouth. Are the toys lying around as he goes and takes, or will he only take it when he's given a mark as we can take it? No, we have toys. It's just like when you teach a dog to sit or down on cue, they're allowed to sit in down at times we don't cue them to, correct? And the same is true with the toys. Now I have toys all over my house. We try to keep them in a toy box, a little toy bag. Right now, Profit's Joy in Life is getting all of the toys out of the bag. So they're kind of scattered all over the house and they get picked up every day. So we do have them. If there is a time that I wouldn't have it, let's say I have a new puppy and I'm struggling to create the best relationship with that puppy. I would not have high value toys hanging around the house. I would have toys, interactive toys for that puppy. I'd have enrichment toys for that puppy. But I would save some toys special, aka my favorites, that puppy would have only have access to when they're engaging with me. All right? So we want our puppies to have a great life. I don't believe in, you know, I wrote a book called Rough Love and people misunderstood what I was saying that I want dogs to love us because we don't give them any life outside of loving us. That's, you know, enrichment is just super important. So I would give that enrichment to my puppies, but there would be special toys that, and honestly, if you raise a puppy the way we outline in Recallers,

then you don't have a problem. I'm going to, I'm going to share with you, one of our Recallers students is an amazing artist and also amazing cartoonist. And she put together when I was telling a story about what often happens in dog training and what happens in Recallers. She put this graphic together. So at the beginning, the description of this live is I'm going to give you the timeline to how to make change in a reinforcement based program. But let's take the opposite view. If we start with a dog, oh, I have to go and unclick this. Hold on. If we start with the view, I remember back in my very first ever obedience puppy class. It was obedience class, but it was a puppy class. It was in 1988. And I had a good idea how to train dogs. Not that I trained a lot. I'd never owned a dog of my own, but I had trained dogs for other people. I'd read a lot of books on dog training. And so I trained my puppy who was 12 weeks old. And when we went to this school, there was other dogs, there was all kinds of people, there were smells on the floor. So when we walked in, we had zero connection. And so I walk into this classroom. I'm trying to get her attention. I'm putting cookies on her nose. It doesn't work. And then they say, let's get the puppy to sit, put the cookie above her head and say, sit, sit, sit, sit, sit. Well, we're saying a word before the puppy even knows what she should be doing. So we've gone from zero connection and we backed up with that with zero clarity on the behaviors. What do they mean? What do you want me to do? How can I earn my reinforcement? And that ends up with that puppy. I was told you need to correct her on a choke chain because she's not giving the watch me. She's not looking at you. We need to get her to look at you, to focus on you. And so then I took away that confidence that that puppy had in me because there's all this distraction with no connection and no clarity of what she should do, how she could be right. And so then I ended up with a dog who has zero confidence in me and she's starting to shrink in that class. I actually remember her as this little boat anchor at one point and during one of the exercises because there was too much complexity. Any chance she got, she would stress pant, she would sniff the floor. She would look for anywhere, look to get off the train is what she was doing. She was looking to get off that train. Can you guys relate? Have you ever been in a situation with your dogs where your dog started sniffing, your dog looked like they were anxious,

your dog wanted to leave what was going on. Your dog didn't want any part of you or what you were trying to train. Maybe you were doing like a sport like dog agility that I have set up here and your dog just eat. And dogs might show that lack of clarity and lack of connection by the obvious sniffing the ground, scratching their ears, looking to leave, wiggling at other people. But they also might show it by trying to get the zoomies and getting really high and frantic and bouncing and nipping at you, nipping at your arms, nipping at everything. So lack of clarity can be shown in a different way. Has that ever, have you ever been in that kind of a scenario? Michelle said, wow, this is currently happening in our new puppy class. Oh, Michelle, we can help you. Petra said, absolutely. That's how I ended up in recallers. Sadly, yes. Unfortunately, as I mentioned in one of our lives, there's over, I mean, the live that I got said there was 18,000 dog, 18,773 dog trainers in the United States. I've come to figure that was actually dog training schools. So you figure every dog training school probably has dog, 10 people teaching or assisting classes in there. So there's probably more like 180,000 dog trainers out there. And very few of them take the time to really learn about what's possible with the use of reinforcement. What they do is what their mentors told them, because we trust, we trust what people of authority tell us. And you really need to ask yourself, does this resonate with me? Is this the kind of relationship they'll say, this is what you have to do? This is the only way. No, it's not possible. It's not the only way. We are doing what people have been saying for years can't be done. And honestly, people get mad at what we do, at the examples we give. And that's part of change because they feel threatened because we're doing it in a way that promotes kindness. So what we are suggesting is possible. Oops, hold on. I've got something. Here we go. What we're suggesting is possible is, and you saw it guys, if you went through the Connected Dog series, where we gave you all of the lesson plans to download and print off in these lovely little books, you know, by the end of you playing just one or two games, you saw a different level of connection. Give me a heart for connection. Come on. That's what starts it all. That's when I go to play with my dog. I need the transfer of value to me. That starts with the connection. From the connection, then I work on clarity of some skill. You guys, we worked on the clarity of the hand

targeting. But we created connection by conditioning the dog to that so many parts of life were amazing. Go to class. They'll have you walk on equipment. There's no connection. There's no understanding of anything. Why are we putting these dogs on equipment? Okay. I don't want to go off a tangent about dog sports because really we are here to talk about you training your dog. But I just want to make sure that we're on the same page, that we want to create a dog who has the confidence to live life connected through you, but not dependent on you, that they get the freedom to live their life. All right. I'm going to show you 10 little video clips of 10 different dog training challenges. And I would like you to tell me how many of the 10 you've either experienced or are currently experiencing. These are just 10 of our students, actually past students, people who started our recallers program. And I want you are here to learn about a timeline. What does that timeline look like? So the first dog is a border collie. And here's the truth. So many people believe, oh, border collies are so easy. No wonder. Yeah. No wonder you can do that because border collies are brilliant. But the truth is, there is no breed of dog that guaranteed success. Because within, if you look at profit compared to this, they're three years apart, trained by the same trainer who has excellent dog training skills, dramatically different dogs. So the first example is of a border collie with what people think, oh, that's easy to get a border collie to do that. She had zero recall. So all these clips are like 10 minutes. I want you to one to, maybe I have 11, one to 11, just in case I have 11, write down if that's a problem that you had. So the first one is no recall. So you could hear Adjia, I can't see her name. We have a lot of students from Europe and I'm not great with European names, but you can hear her calling her dog over and over and over again. Has anybody, anybody out there had to call your dog more than once and they still didn't come when, when you asked, then give yourself a check for that one. Okay. This next one is Kay's got a pity mix and a rescue Chihuahua mix. I think she might be a favorite Chihuahua. And the Chihuahua was bounced around from home to home. Typical people believe, I mean, she, she was, she used her mouth a lot to communicate. She was, she alarmed bark at the door. So this was Kay and her two dogs. So somebody comes to the door and she has to grab the dogs to pull them back to open the door.

And it's not too untypical. And what happens is we end up not even recognizing what we're doing. We end up, it becomes an automatic thing. Somebody comes to the door and we have to pull the dogs back or just crack the door because we know what's going to happen. All right. So score yourself. We've done two. What's your score? This next one is a very high drive Springer Spaniel. Have you ever had this experience trying to walk your dog down the street? This was Tater Salad. Actually, he was very similar when, when he first arrived here. So for Katrine, it was virtually impossible to walk down the way. Okay. Now this next example is a tiny fluffy dog, which people, you know, it's easy. They're little, pick them up. You don't really have to train them. But, um, Velma was super overwhelmed because this little ball of fluff had a lot of energy and she, even basic things like grooming was a problem for her. So this is little, uh, park. So often when you have dogs like that, you're managing. Okay. So there's just, they're just into everything. And as a puppy owner, you feel overwhelmed. And a lot of our students are at a place where they feel like they were going to give that puppy back to the breeder. And that's how they end up with us is all right, you'll be my last chance. I'll give this a whirl for for a little while. And then boom, all of a sudden they're seeing these amazing changes. Okay. This one, very, very common with, um, with terriers. It's very common with, um, herding breeds of all kinds, but I just used the example of a border collie who gets over aroused by different triggers. I've had that. I had it with a Jack Russell. If you've had it, give yourself a check for that one. Next one, leash reactivity, trying to walk down the street when your dog is reactive to other dogs. So again, that one is unfortunately quite rampant. Um, LaDonna you've met before with her dogs. I've introduced you to her. Um, this is what meal time. So when she was getting her dog's food out, that was a trigger for them to get super excited. So this is what meal time looked like. So three Dalmatians, one of them deaf, LaDonna, um, a grandmother with mobility challenges and that kind of anarchy in her house. I love the dogs that people haven't squashed the personality of the dogs, but I know how challenging it is to live like that, which is why we want to bring that into a place where they can focus on things we want. Okay. I'm not sure what number are we at? Has anyone been counting that? Next up is, um, Illiana with her German Shepherd mix.

And she always wanted to go walking free walking with, with her dog, but just couldn't Because off leash became a game of keep away and wait. So she had to wait until the dog decided to come back to her whenever she took the leash off, um, when she was out and about. So obviously she had to do it in a safe environment and obviously she couldn't be on a timetable because she ended up on her dog's timetable when her dog decided to come back. So, um, yeah, that is very, very frustrating. You end up getting mad at yourself or mad at the dog and then mad at yourself because you're mad at the dog. Okay. Um, Jesse dogs, and this could, this clip is just cats. So it could be squirrels. It could be chipmunks. It could be deer. It could be other dogs. In this case, it's cats. How are we doing? How many are you checking off? I'm going to look in the comments. I want to see how many this, this last one now, a sight hound whip it again. People say you can't train sight hounds. They don't really like food. They don't like toys. They're on their own agenda. We help people no matter what the breed. So, um, I'm just going to give you a little trigger warning that it has a happy ending. The dog doesn't get hurt, but the dog does get hit by a car. Um, and the problem is she was just too wild and she couldn't be reeled in. So here is Ruby. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Okay, I'm going to show you the afters of all of those, but I want to look at your comments first and maybe answer some of your questions. Look at some of you said all of them, almost all of them, almost all of them, all of them. I'm at three already. Oh my gosh. So, but that's not uncommon because if you go back to that train, if we traditional training trains at a dog, it doesn't train with a dog. You conform to me, you do what I want. Well, the moment the dog gets a chance, that's where they're going to express their own autonomy because they haven't been able to do it in any other place. Okay. So it's, you know, I was thinking about this this morning. Recallers, obviously registration for recallers is open right now and it is a $500, US dollar investment. So people are going to go, oh my gosh, that is X number in Swiss francs. It's X number in this many things in this currency. Imagine if you're a breeder, when you got your puppy said, this puppy costs X dollars. If you have a French bulldog, probably, well, I have a friend who sells French bulldogs for $35,000. So whatever that price is plus 500, but you get this great course. Nobody would have thought anything of it. But what people will do is they'll live in the pain

of having to manage this behavior. I can't let my dog near the garbage. I can't let my dog near the couch. You can't let my dog be alone. I can't walk my dog when other dogs might be out. I can't take my dog off leash at a park. I can't go walking in the forest. You'll manage all that. But instead of managing, you just play a game several times a day and that builds the layers. What's the timeline for that? As I mentioned in a previous live, that we start by building value for the things we want to use in our training, AKA the toys, the food, the locations. And then we transfer value. Then we test value so that you can do all these things. Okay. So I'm going to go and show you now the afters and it's, and there's no end of story. Swagger's 13. He's still getting trained. Why? Because I love to do it because I love to make his life more full. That's, that's why obviously my puppy who's 11 months gets a lot more training than anybody. But when you train this way, we're not training at a dog or connecting with them. And that's really what imagine if dog training was called connecting with your dog instead of training, training the dog or connecting with them. Who wouldn't want to connect with their dog every time they pass them by? I think that would be awesome. Okay. I'm going to show you now, um, the after stories. So we're going to start with, um, the border collie that had no recall. Like what a difference the dog. Anytime she says, doesn't just come and called speeds to her speeds to her when called and remember, um, Parker Parker, the, Oh, Oh wait, I forgot about Rigby. Where's Rigby. Oh, here we go. Okay. Here we go. Here's Rigby. So instead of getting angry with the dogs and trying to pull them off when somebody walks in the door, there's a trigger that says, Hey, fly to your crate. Good things happen. It's just a, it's a mind shift. It's a mind shift for us to say, instead of saying what we don't like, let's think about what we do like. And remember Nelly, the Brittany, crazy Brittany that just wanted to pull and lunge at everything. And Parker, the little ball of fluff that he couldn't even attempt to groom that dog because he was, he had, he, he was all over the place with zero control. This one is really a cool one. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

So dogs who lack clarity, like I said, some of them stress down, but a lot of them, like Parker, would stress up and just turn into this whirling dervish around the house. Look at how relaxed that dog was. And did you see some of the games, the hand target and then the redirection to the reinforcement on the floor that you guys have already got started on those games. Gives the dog the ability to live their life with full agency over how they get to live their life. Okay. What about that crazy border collie that wanted to attack the vacuum? Right? Life is different. Life is a lot more calm. And our leash reactive Manchester terrier. And LaDonna's dogs at mealtime. She just had a new behavior for them, a behavior where they could earn reinforcement. And, you know, some people will say, Oh, those dogs are just robotic. Those dogs are still free spirits. They trust me. I went to LaDonna's house to surprise her one time. They're still living a great life. They're still free spirits. Our German Shepherd mix that we had to wait till he decided to come show back up before we could go home. And what about our cat chaser, Jesse? And find out what our cat chaser, Jesse. And finally, after getting the wake up call of her dog running off and being hit by car, finally we have Andrea and her awesome whip at Ruby. I want you to notice this is a dog that lunged in the previous video, any dog that it saw when it was off when it was on leash. And obviously played keep away with its toys wouldn't bring a toy back. And And so so as i've mentioned several times environmental neutrality means things your dog was head was on a swivel looking at now doesn't hold any power that dog that they didn't even know that came over because it sounded look like she was having fun with a dog that that labrador ruby didn't even look at it that's environmental neutrality and i want to remind you that these are professional dog trainers so in recallers i would say less than 10 percent are well maybe it's a little more than

15 maybe are professional dog trainers the rest of our students are everyday people first-time dog owners first-time pet owners that have never ever um attempted to train their dog or they've figured that they their dog failed at training got kicked out of a class if you were like tater salad get kicked out of three of them okay um i'm going to answer some of your questions but i want to see is there any questions that and i want you to notice all of our recallers that are in the comments we don't ask anybody to be in our comments they show up because they were where you are right now they know the feeling of helplessness and overwhelm and um panic and fear they were feeling about should i join this online class with this crazy woman who seems like her hair is in a different position every day or should i give up on this dog is is it ever going to work so our recallers show up in these comments section because they're here to support you because they know what it feels like to be in your shoes trying to make this decision because recallers registration is only open until thursday okay so i'm going to answer some of the questions and loh is going to grab some more if there's any you can post them in the comment section so some of these questions are about the connected dog series others i would imagine are about recallers so first one from menu susan i've tried my dog i've tried using my dog food bowl and her raw food for training my dog gets over excited do i just keep at the 12 layers of eight uh i see it's your choice with her raw and eventually i'll be able to train the temp is over excited i don't ever get to train what i want to okay this is a great question it's rare that i have a question that makes me go what is that answer this was one because it's not one that i have experienced because of the way my dogs are raised so let's say i'm going to use demonstration this is our bowl of super super duper raw food remember there's 12 layers of it's your choice what i would do is we want to be able to work at layer one and two with high value food and remember when we went to layer six through 12 we went to a lower value food so yes you're going to use the raw food for being able to walk around being able to put it on high surfaces and reinforce at a very high rate but right now you're going to use your lower value food when the food gets like put in down on the floor for um it's your choice or for um using it teaching chow right because your dog is dictating the pace we dictate with these great lesson plans we dictate the learning but the dog dictates dictates the pace

and they'll tell us through their temp so if they're making a lot of failures two or maximum of three at the same level they're telling you you're moving too fast for me i don't get this this is a little bit overwhelming for me and so all that we do is we go okay i'll train it's your choice with lower value rewards but i'll train it's your choice at your choice layer six to twelve i'll use lower value but it's your choice with my raw food i'll do my my one to three instead of having a dinner plate i'm walking around with i might walk around with a little bit of raw food in there um okay that was a great question does this training apply to other dog sports absolutely recallers originally had 80 agility and obedience people in it maybe more the very first recallers recallers 1.0 it had all people who were doing dog sports because what it does it gives the dog the ability to discriminate between words so if you're doing something like agility that's all agility is you're doing something like obedience like my puppy i've never done any kind of healing with him i'm going to do a little demo with you right now i've never done any kind of i love i love obedience i just don't have the time to train it so i'm going to get my puppy out who is a little bit asleep right now i know you're it's not a surprise to you but i'll turn the camera on to i'm going to put my i'm going to put the mic on so you guys can can hear my me talk because once i move away the audio gets kind of icky so put on here i'm going to turn that a little bit so you can see all right um so maybe somebody could okay so you can see my puppy my puppy's there sound asleep because relaxation is a big part of helping our dogs live a great life all right okay so how far back do i think can i be um i'm just going to tip this camera back can you come up linda and just work the camera for me i think that should be better get it me okay so we want our dog to be keen to do things in sports like like get us a toy bring me fast out fast back that's important when we're doing a retrieve because fast out fast back means the dog loves what they're doing but they what ends up happening is at first they'll run off with the toy then we get them excited about working with us so that they love work with us but they get they love the toy so much they won't let it go right they won't let it go strike strike strike so when we train the way we do and this is all in recallers so now i want to get that okay bring me i'll just do this i'll just bring me i'll do this i'm gonna treat you this way so you can see okay uh there we go here right right

so we want that kind of control and it isn't imposed it isn't you will do this it is the dog wants to do the things we say back my start sorry wrong word back knee knee more more more what's it what's it what's it what's it i don't get ready ready ready ready go down down down give me go we can't hear you just so you know right good good point okay uh i'm gonna do the healing it good good so this puppy has never done any obedience right side please good never done any obedience right in mind but look at how well he understands where he'll position he would love to have that toy oh cookies do some cookies yeah yeah i think a lot they're about to have the treats okay so does does this create a great understanding for um for sport dog crazy good crazy good understanding for any sport dog right right this is an 11 month old puppy you know he's he's still learning and i've never i've never said oh let's do some obedience i'm going to be focused on obedience every time i get a new puppy i say i'm going to go back to obedience i'm going to do some obedience training with my dog but it ends up um that i never get back in the obedience right so so okay so is is recall is a great um program to help with your sports yes absolutely if you're in sports right now your dog isn't excelling your dog lacks connection lacks focus or lacks enjoyment of your sports come into recallers and then go back into your sport okay um i've got more questions here katarina i have arthritic hands is there a preferred way to handle delivering treats to a tiny breed i'm arthritic dealing with those tiny cookies for hand targets do you have any modifications you can offer so um maybe you do less training and bigger treats if that would be easier for you there's always ways to modify your training i know when um um i put my back out one time and i was working on my dog's down position and i use like a jump bar that was hollow and i would just drop the cookies in the jump bar so that i didn't have to bend over so there's always ways to modify we have people that are training from scooters or electric wheelchairs that are in our program so if you can't think of a way or you could do this this is what i'm thinking of doing when i'm training this behavior has anybody else done it with arthritic hands has anybody else that's what happens in our community because we have thousands and thousands of people in our recallers

community so if you have a challenge with a particular dog or a mechanical challenge chances are that question's been asked and it's been and a great conversation has developed because of it okay um hila asks uh our dog is great with it's your choice layers when there is food involved but it it it has transferred well into real life how do we grow to include things he steals when he's excited he'll grab shoes when he's excited about something i love dogs with personality um you could play it's your choice with your shoes you could play it's your choice with toys or what's really best give your dog an appropriate toy that they hold what is it that you want him to hold and reinforce that let's build up that and and so that when they get excited and often if it's probably a golden retriever or something related to a golden retriever that when they have a toy that is theirs that they know is their greeting stick it's so much easier um okay i know we want to reward with a lot of cookies my puppy is very food motivated how many cookies is too much alex that is a question that is specific to the dog right it depends on the size of the dog it depends on the sensitivity of their stomach there's so many things that um goes into that so i don't know if you are concerned i would make the cookie small i see when i used to go out and teach um i taught a lot of workshops in person my biggest was um i was on the road 200 days one year that was my biggest stint of going from place to place to place and what i observed is people tend to use cookies that are way too big for the size of the dog so i'm training a border collie and this is the size of the cookie that i'm using i don't know in perspective it's you know that's the size and and depending on what i'm rewarding i would not be um i would not be i would break that in half too so yeah so you can go small your dog's going to be disappointed i said that but you absolutely can if i choose a recallers classroom will someone help me to organize my time so i finish the class samantha we have got your back so in the recallers classroom there's so many ways that we help people um get on board and take action so this is what the classroom looks like it's like a custom interact interact interact interact interact interact interact interact interact interact interact interact interact interact interact interact interact interact interact interact interact interact interact interact interact interact interact interact interact interact interact interact

And then there's a little quick tip sheets, which is just a tiny little reminder of all the nuances of that game that you can just have something handy that's very, very small that you can go to when you go to train. And then when you've trained and you think you've got it right, there's a little quiz that you can take just to make sure that you understand all the nuances of what we've shared. So we make our, all of our, all of our programs accessible to anybody that needs like louder vision or different colored screens, or if they have epilepsy and we present things in different colors so that it doesn't trigger. So, I mean, the team has thought of everything when they put together all of our programs, but that I think was the answer, will answer your question. And on top of that, like I mentioned, we have our, our weekly, our weekly motivational memo to you that gets you going and taking action. But on top of that, I think it's the community that really swarms you and gets you into training with your dog. Okay. Next question. Is this all too much for my 16 week old puppy? We're having fun, but he's tired. Isn't that great? We are mentally engaging the dog in a way that they, they need to re regenerate their energy. How much, but like people think they have to walk their puppy for miles a day. Nothing can compare to engaging their brain. I actually do not take my puppy out on leash walks, probably until they're six or seven months old. I will take them places for socializing where they get to see all sorts of different things, but I don't take them walking until they know what I call what reinforcement zone is, what my puppy was doing. Driving that, that, that, that whatever, wherever you're, wherever we are, that you want to be at my side.

And so when I've got that walking on leash is super easy. So we, we teach you that in recallers. Okay. Doreed says, I train by myself. There are lots of options to modify games. If you need to, the majority of games are yes. So in recallers, I think there's two of the 40 games that you can play with somebody else, but any game you can, no three, maybe that you can modify to have somebody help you. Or when you don't have somebody to help you. Is recallers mostly for puppies? Ginny. Recallers is for every dog who has an owner who wants to bring them more confidence, more joy, more engagement and understanding with those layers. So yes, it's brilliant for puppies. The challenge with puppies is people think I've got it. I can, I can do this with my puppy. I don't really need any help. And what happens is they have this honeymoon period with a puppy before they really get into trouble. If I could wish one thing, it's that everybody join recallers when they get their puppy, actually before they get their puppy. So they learn the games and the human mechanics, because I've been saying all along, effective dog training is 50% your, your mechanics. So yes, it would be great if everybody joined with their puppies. Unfortunately, so often people need to feel pain before they reach out for us for help. And so it's great for puppies. Yes. But oh my gosh, we've had people with teenager dogs that have joined up and it's so much engagement for those dogs. It just gives them a second lease on life because all of a sudden they have clarity and they, and they have a way to interact with you in a really positive way. So it's, it's, um, most of our class is not puppies. There is probably, I mean, I'm guessing 25% are puppies. It would be great if everybody with a puppy signed up. Um, but it's definitely, are nuances deeper in recallers? Yes. Because you met some of our coaches in, oh no, you didn't in our, um, in our platinum level. I, we brought in our coaches for people to meet. We have, um, I don't know, 20 different coaches. And so that's what helps deepen your understanding of the nuances because they get where you are. They've been where you are before. So yes, nuances are what the whole program is about. Like we don't, we don't, we don't take you to the bunny farm until you've effectively mastered the nuances of your living room, your dining room, your kitchen, your backyard. So it is all, a lot of people saying there's no sound. Hmm. I can, let me, I'll, I'm going to recheck my settings here. Um, no, it says it's, it says it's working. You know what? I can, I can turn the volume up.

If I can turn the volume up, if that's a problem, hold on. Okay. Volume is up. Um, Vicki. If I join, can I revisit the nuance series? Yes. Yes. Um, not only can you visit the nuance series, but we're working on something to even make the nuance series even better for our recallers. Once. Yeah. More on that tomorrow. Um, will it help a coonhound? Absolutely. There, breeds like a coonhound, a Siberian husky, whippets, the, the non-typical breeds, like breeds like German shepherds and, and Malinois and golden retrievers and Labrador retrievers and all the breeds that were bred to work with man. Absolutely. Absolutely. This works. But then again, if you stick with something long enough, it will work with those breeds because they were born to work with man. But there's the other breeds that people say you can't, they're untrainable or they have, their instincts are too strong that you can't reach them. Okay. AKA something like our beloved coon hound. And absolutely, this will work for them because they get the freedom to choose what is their reinforcer. They get the freedom to choose to show you how much joy they can have. They don't have to be squashed because they love to sniff things. We can celebrate them for who they are and help them to find joy in what we do. Okay? There's a what? Oh, I think I answered. Oh, here's one. How can you assure me with thousands of recallers, my questions will be answered? Well, Millie, here's the thing. Great question, Kitty. Kitty's question is, I work a lot. How much time in a day is required for this program? I'm going to give you two answers. The ideal answer. And that is, think about we're not training the dog.

We're connecting with the dog. How, how many times a day do you currently connect with your dog? I would imagine, first thing in the morning, you let them out to go to the bathroom and you probably connect with them when they come back in. You can turn that when they come back in connection to one 30 second game. And then you put the kettle on. You could turn that into another 30 second game while you're letting, making, waiting for your kettle to boil. And then somewhere before you leave for work, you might have time to do a little bit longer, maybe a minute connecting game. You go to work, whenever it is, you come back. That's when you make another connection. But then you're going to make an appointment with yourself that you are going to sit down and learn the next lesson at this o'clock. And that next lesson, then you can break it up into the next day's few games that you're going to play. So we roll out five games in a week. And then we give you a time to absorb those games before we roll out the next five games. So that is the perfect world. It's meant it's dog training or dog connecting. That's meant to be woven into the fabric of your game of your life because dog training doesn't happen just when you go to a class. Dog training happens every waking moment your dog is around. They're either learning through you, through games, through ways that you've set up to establish learning, or they're learning through the environment by fence fighting with the neighbor's dog, by digging holes in the backyard, by shredding the couch.
