What Size Dog Bed Do I get For A 10 Week Old Puppy?

Hello, my name is Ed Frawley. I have a really easy, simple question here, but I think it's going to help people to get puppies. It's a question about what size dog bed to get, if you get a new puppy. And it actually came in through the Ask Cindy portal on the front of our website, Learburg.com. And I say this at the beginning of every one of my ones, my questions. You don't need to be a customer of Learburg to ask a question. So this one concerns a person that's getting a 10-week-old puppy. And she says, hi, Cindy, I'm a new student of Michael's video on my puppy that I picked up on Monday. And she's talking here about the online course that we did with Michael Ellis on raising a puppy, which is seven hours of information. And it's excellent for new dog trainers. And it goes on to say, he's 10 weeks old, a German Shepherd. Should I buy him a small or a large Coranda bed? And we personally use Coranda beds in our dogs. If you don't know what a Coranda bed is, we'll put the link in this video so you can see it because they're really, really good beds. They can get wet and they dry out really quick. They're comfortable. You can put a softer dog bed on top of the Coranda bed. But basically the answer is that we start our puppies on the size that we will use when our puppy is an adult dog. And for a German Shepherd, that's large. But if we were, and we also have like a Chihuahua, we have a Border Terrier, we have a Shih Tzu in our home. And when they were puppies, we started those on the smaller Coranda beds. And they still use the same Coranda beds today that they did. Our Border Terrier is going on, she's 13 years old. And our Shih Tzu is eight years old. We didn't need to start them on a large bed. But our German Shepherd started on the large bed and he's still using it today. So the Coranda beds, no dog bed is cheap. The nice thing that I will say about these Coranda beds, and you see these fluffy type, big fluffy dog beds, they're all great when you first get them. But have your dog lay on it for six months or a year, and they're going to start to stink. And then you can try washing them. They can say what you want about washing them, but pretty hard to get the smell out of it. So we would recommend a Coranda bed because we use them in our house.
