NOTE: Newly certified trainers will find this event provides a useful template to use with clients, as well as a chance to see the approach given to multiple cases, working together. al is for each participant to earn certification, which requires demonstration of mastery of the skills, and passage of a written test with 95% or better score. Students collaborate to accomplish this as a team. The result is all trainers emerge being excellent at these skills, rather than passing at a mediocre level. This is doable! Come ahead. If you are not generally comfortable in a class or test environment, come anyway. This will be a new experience. ** Dogs: All can bring a dog(s) as approved. You must certify, signed and in writing, that you can, and will, manage the dog safely in public, and will bring and engage whatever equipment required to do that. If any dog is disruptive, he will be excused from the camp until he is no longer disruptive. All dogs must be on lead at all times when out of crates or cars, and in crates or cars the remainder of the time. How to choose the dog to bring : It can be very good to bring a relatively normal dog that needs these skills, so you can focus on the process and build your own skills and confidence.
