방송이 시작된 것 같네요, 네 방송 중입니다. 자, 오늘 할 일은 상자 훈련입니다. 조금 일찍 준비를 마쳤는데요, 그래서 조금 일찍 시작합니다. 이 친구는 장고, 장고 펫입니다. 아주 멋진 현상금 사냥꾼이고 상자도 아주 잘 다룹니다. 여기 상자가 있습니다. 만약 집에 상자가 없다면 무언가 비슷한 것을 준비해 보세요. 중요한 점은 어떤 상자든 괜찮다는 겁니다. 저희는 퍼그를 투명한 플라스틱 신발 상자에 넣고 훈련했는데 아주 잘 됐어요. 아마존 택배 상자도 써봤는데, 한동안은 잘 되지만 솔직히 현실적으로는 나무 상자를 사용하는 게 좋습니다. 이것들은 밀봉되어 있어서 여기에 둬도 괜찮습니다. 어떤 종류의 음식을 사용하든 상관없습니다. 저희는 사료를 준비했고요. 여기 테이블과 상자가 있습니다. 상자는 강아지의 크기에 따라 다릅니다. 이 상자는 바닥이 넓어서 귀엽고 안정적이라 잡기가 더 쉽습니다. 자, 시작해 보죠. 준비물은 상자와 리드줄, 그리고 목걸이를 착용한 강아지입니다. 어떤 종류의 리드줄이나 목걸이든 상관없습니다. 그리고 사료를 준비하세요. 이게 이 친구의 사료이고, 하루치 배급량입니다. 최근 들어 사료를 다 먹지 않고 있는데 괜찮습니다. 성장기에는 먹성이 폭발해서 하루에 12컵씩 먹기도 하지만, 어떤 날은 4컵을 먹기도 합니다. 괜찮아요, 문제없습니다. 여기서 컵이란 계량컵을 말합니다. 밀가루를 잴 때 쓰는 그런 거요. 큰 콜라 컵을 말하는 게 아닙니다. 퀵이마트에서 사오세요 좋아요, 오늘은 밖에서 진행할 건데요 주변 교통 소음은 양해 부탁드립니다. 하지만 강아지가 조금 더 많은 방해 요소를 받아들일 준비가 되어서 여러분들을 위해 밖으로 나오게 되었습니다 자, 이제 어떻게 할 거냐면요, 바로 클리커를 쓰지는 않을 거예요. 클립 훈련 중이라 놓아줄 거거든요. 그러니까 제가 클릭하면 강아지가 저에게 오게 되고요 그건 마지막에 할 거고, 우선 우리가 할 일은 바로 상자를 뒤집어 놓는 겁니다. 강아지가 바로 안으로 들어가면 상자 안으로 들어가서 어떻게 하는지 지켜보세요 상자 안으로 들어가는 거면 잘하는 거예요. 그리고 여러분들이 해야 할 일은 비가 조금 오는데 어쩌겠어요? 그냥 비가 오네 하고 넘어가야죠. 별수 있나요 비가 정말 많이 오지 않는 이상은 그냥 진행하다가 너무 심해지면 끊고 안으로 들어갈 겁니다. 하지만 아시죠, 빗물도 방해 요소라는 걸요. 방금 말했듯이 이 상자들은 방수 처리가 되어 있습니다. 여러분들의 상자도 방수가 되고요. 이제 저는 조용히 있을 테니 어떤 소리가 나는지 들어보세요 상자 바닥에 무언가가 닿을 때 나는 소리입니다 제가 어떻게 하는지 보여드릴 테니 그대로 해보시고 그 다음에 왜 이렇게 하는지 설명해 드릴게요. 한 번에 하나씩 하려고 노력해 보세요 그럼 잘 될 거예요. 큰 문제는 아니니까요 그냥 강아지 사료를 전부 한꺼번에 쏟아붓지는 마세요
it looks like we're lives so we're live now so we're gonna do today is box and we were set up a little bit early so we're going a little bit early this is Jango Jango Fett he is a awesome bounty hunter and he is also very box savvy so we have the box right here now if you do not have a box at home put something together but here's the thing you can do any box so we've had pug in a plastic clear shoebox and that's worked out well we use the Amazon boxes and those work for a time but honestly realistically you want to have a wooden box these have been sealed so we could leave them up here they're going to be fine and if you use whatever type of food it's gonna be fine we have kibble we have our table right here the box it depends on the size of your dog this is cute okay with the bigger base so you can hold it a little bit easier let's get started so what you need to do is get that box get your dog on a leash and collar I do not care what type of leash and collar and get your food so this is his kibble this is his daily ration of kibble he hasn't been eating all of it lately which is fine no gozaburo spurts where they eat like 12 cups a day and that were growth spurts with 84 Cup today that's fine that's not an issue and when I say cup I mean measuring cup like what you use when you measure flour I don't mean the big gulp Cup that you get at the kwik-e-mart okay so we are outside today I do apologize for any road noise but he's ready for a little more distraction so we wanted to take it outside for you okay so what you're gonna do is no clicker right away he's training clip release so when I click he comes to me and I'll do that at the end but what we're gonna do is we're gonna flip the box over if he goes into it right away into the box and see how he does into the box that works and what you want to do is you want to it's sprinkling what do we do we say oh well it's sprinkling unless it gets really bad to which case we'll cut it and go inside but you know what rain is a distraction remember whenever I just said these boxes are waterproof your boxes are waterproof now I'm gonna be quiet so you can listen to the point that it makes whatever it hits the bottom I'm going to show you how to do it so you can do it then I'll tell you why we do it try to do one at a time it tickets and it's not a big deal just don't do like I want to dump all of his

food in there that would not be good right or proper and in the beginning of his head comes out that's fine I'll wait for him to put his head in because he figures it out really quickly and we have a puppy we're gonna show you with in just a few minutes another one went out that's fine so at home gypsy and Zoe are right there to get any food that spills out Zoe is my cleanup crew and notice it's kind of like Plinko from The Price is Right if you guys wanna plank oh you don't know where it's gonna land it's similar to that so sometimes it bounces off of their head and out of the box here we go so if he's gonna hold his head in there perfect that's what I want and quickly what I want to do is start adding an odor or you can also take the bottom off and use it for tracking but you want to do this in the beginning for focus another one linked up so every service dog needs this every pet dog needs this do you like looking at Jango spot we're gonna finish opposite is there that's the last handful now what do I do huh I click release him to me and then while he is away from it I flip it over notice I don't hold him out of it cuz when I pulled him out of it I want him to go back into it with more vigor okay now let's talk about what we did let me know if you guys have any questions okay djenka so what does the box do why do you use the Box you use the box for better focus much better focus now think we use the box as you all know we go to Disney all the time what if we popped up Disney during a parade well my dog did if my dog sniffing is heading this box and not lift his head out of the box that he could ignore any distraction around him because those Disney praise can be pretty intense now Jacob nope stop eating grass Holstein show them that his favorite of eating grass so he thinks it's really ripping fun so you have a dog who doesn't like firework fire get fireworks and thunderstorms box out teach him to ignore distractions you have a dog do you know how many times I hear from people oh my sir you distracted my service dog or he distracted my service dog balloony there's no that's when your service dog that's on your training do the Box to increase focus okay [Music] that's better do the Box to increase focus and increase the level of ignored Naurang distraction the other thing the box will do is get it where your dog is really into it so he could pick up scent easier okay so if you're gonna do any sort of tracking work pop the bottom off of the box and now you have you first covering for your scent pad to teach your dog to put his nose in for service dogs what if you put the scent in there so what if he's being trained uh-huh
