자 여러분, 또 다른 에피소드에 오신 것을 환영합니다. 오랜만이라는 거 알아요. 저희 사업에 많은 일이 있었고, 저희 개인적인 삶에도 많은 일이 있었습니다. 그래서 팟캐스트가 잠시 뒷전으로 밀려났지만, 계속해서 팟캐스트를 진행할 것이고 에피소드를 꾸준히 올릴 겁니다. 에피소드들은, 음, 여전히 더 많은 콘텐츠가 올라올 거예요. 단지 사업 관리와 운영을 매일 하다 보면 정말 많은 일들이 발생하고, 운영하다 보면 개인적인 삶도 때로는 바빠진다는 것을 여러분도 아실 겁니다. 여러분 중 대부분은 아니더라도, 상당수가 사업을 운영하고 계시니까요. 많은 분들이 여러분 스스로 반려견 훈련 사업을 운영하고 계시죠. 설령 본인의 반려견 훈련 사업을 운영하지 않더라도, 어, 여러분 대부분은 아니 어쩌면 여러분 모두가, 혹은 대다수의 분들이 반려견 훈련사이시니까요. 본인을 위해 훈련하든 다른 사람을 위해 훈련하든, 아시다시피 개들은 훈련이 필요하고, 돌봄이 필요합니다. 그게 결국 여러분의 시간 중 큰 부분을 차지하게 되죠. 그래서 이해해주실 겁니다. 때때로 에피소드 사이에 공백이 조금 있다는 것을요. 하지만 다시 말씀드리지만 에피소드와 콘텐츠는 계속 나올 겁니다. 가끔씩 기다리는 시간이 조금 있을 수도 있습니다. 음, 하지만 저희는 계속해서 할 겁니다 그래서 오늘 에피소드에서는 집중하고 싶었던 게 하나의 최근 경험인데, 이 에피소드를 만들 시점에서의 최근의 몇 주 전 경험이었어요 그건 제가 네포포(Nepopo)에 참석했던 거였죠 실버 스쿨 그래서 리뷰를 조금 하고 싶었고 제 생각을 조금 말씀드리고 싶었어요 관점 두 가지 다른 각도에서요, 제가 학교에 가기 전 외부인의 관점에서 본 제 생각 있잖아요, 대략적으로 제가 그 시스템에 대해 알고 있던 조금의 정보 그에 대해 알고 있던 조금의 있잖아요, 그 전체적인 네포포의 사고방식, 그리고 나서 학생으로서의 제 관점 왜냐하면, 아시다시피 그건 다르니까요 알다시피 보이죠, 당신은 보게 될 거예요 네포포 학생들과 네포포 트레이너들을 그리고 밖에서 세미나를 보게 되고 공지사항을 보게 되고 상표를 보게 되죠 어, 네포포 이름에 대한 그게 약간은 약간 배타적인 느낌을 주기도 해요 밖에서 보면 말이죠 그래서 저 사람들은 뭘 하고 있는 거지 하는 생각이 들죠 그렇죠, 그래서 제 경험이 그랬다는 걸 알고 [음악] 그리고 외부인으로서, 그래요, 그게 제 외부인의 관점에서 본 경험이었습니다 그게 제가 보기에 그랬습니다 그리고 많은 부분이 실제로 수행되었고 많은 네포포(Nepopo)가 한 일들은 트레이너들이 한 걸 보고 저는 속으로 생각했죠, 음, 이건 정말이지 크게 다르지 않구나 라고요 이미 많은 사람들이 하는 것과 그렇죠 이제 당신은 음 경험 수준에 따라 음, 당신이 보는 네포포(Nepopo) 학생들이 하는 것들이 아주 아주
all right guys welcome to another episode i know it's been a while there's been a lot going on in in our business there's been a lot going on in uh in our personal life so the podcast took a little bit of a back seat but i'm gonna keep bringing up the podcast i'm gonna keep putting up episodes um there's still going to be more content it's just that there is there is a lot of things that do happen during a day-to-day business management and operation and obviously personal life sometimes does get busy you guys know this most of you or maybe not most of you but a lot of you guys are business owners a lot of you guys run your own dog running business and even if you don't run your own dog training business uh most of you guys i would say even all of you guys or the majority of you guys are dog trainers and whether you train for yourself or you train for somebody else you know dogs need to you know dogs need to be trained they need to be taken care of and that ends up eating a big chunk of your time so you understand that sometimes the the episodes have a little bit of a gap but again the episodes the content is gonna keep coming out there might be a little bit of wait time here and there um but we're gonna keep doing this so today's episode i wanted to focus on one of the recent experiences that i had as of the making of this episode it was a recent experience couple a few weeks ago which was my attendance to the nepopo silver school and i wanted to do a bit of a review and give you a little bit of my perspective from two different angles my perspective from the outsiders perspective before i went to school you know sort of what what i the little i knew about the the system the little i knew about the you know the uh the whole uh nepal mentality and and then my perspective as a student because you know it is it is different you know you see the you see the the purple uh students and the and the uh the nepa trainers and you see the seminars from the outside you see the announcements you see the trademark uh on the on the net purple name and it does create a little bit of a a little bit of an exclusive feel to it where you look at it from the outside and you go what are these people doing right so i know that was my experience and [Music] and from an outsider okay that was my experience from an outsider's perspective that was how it looked and a lot of what was done a lot of the what the napopo trainers did i remember thinking to myself well it's not a whole lot different than what a lot of people already do right now you do give you know depending on on your experience level you know what you see some of the purple students do might seem very very

다르게 보일 수도 있고 아주 아주 익숙해 보일 수도 있죠 그래서 제 경우에는 아주 익숙해 보였습니다 여전히 무언가 무언가 장막 뒤에서 일어나는 그런 식의 모습이 있었어요, 마치 어떤 종류의 베일 같은 게 있어서 그게 그저 네포포 학생들과 그리고 어, 네포포 트레이닝 전체 시스템을 가리고 있는 듯했죠 그래서 확실히 그런 음 느낌이 좀 있었어요 그 배타적인 느낌이요 그게 의도된 것인지 아니면 그저 시스템의 부산물이었는지 누가 알겠어요 그렇지만 이건 다시 말하지만 제 관점일 뿐입니다, 이것은 제 관점일 뿐이고 다른 누군가는 완전히 다른 관점을 가질 수도 있죠 다른 어, 네포포 학생들은 분명히 완전히 다른 관점을 가질지도 모릅니다 제가 가기 전에 가졌던 것과는 말이죠 학교에 그리고 그게 제가 겪었던 상황 같은 거였는데 저는 그 기회가 정말 기대됐어요 왜냐하면 제가 어떻게 바트 벨론을 알게 됐는지에 대한 역사를 좀 말씀드릴게요 바트 벨론 그래서 바트와 마이클은 음 정말 성공적인 운동을 하고 있죠 바로 네포포인데 이건 매우 성공적인 운동이자 매우 성공적인 학교예요 그리고 음 이제 점점 더 커지고 있는 음 [음악] 점점 커지고 있는 성장하는 운동 같아 보여요 제 생각에 더 적절한 말이 떠오르지 않아서 그렇게 말하는데 그렇죠 어디서 점점 더 많은 사람들이 그 용어에 익숙해지고 있죠 심지어 그 일부가 아니더라도 그 학교에 속해 있지 않더라도 졸업생이 아니더라도 네포포라는 말을 듣게 되고 네포포는 점점 일상적인 용어가 되어가고 있어요 그래서 제가 처음에 어떻게 바트를 알게 됐냐면 정말 오래전 일이에요 오래전 일이죠 아마 2000년대 아마 2010년이나 2011년 그쯤이었을 거예요 그리고 제가 아프가니스탄에 있을 때였어요 아프가니스탄에서 계약직 탐지견들과 함께 일하고 있었는데 계약직 탐지견들 저는 항상 견학을 다니거나 개에 관한 자료들을 항상 읽어보곤 했어요 개들에 관해서요 네 그래서 저는 항상 제 짬이 날 때마다 보고 있었죠 영상들을 보고 책들을 읽고 있었어요 그래서 저는 정말 정말 반려견 훈련이라는 것 전체에 몰두해 있었죠 계속 더 잘하고 싶었어요 끊임없이 말이죠, 아시다시피 저는 읽고 수많은 자료를 봤어요 여러 다른 반려견 훈련사들의 자료였죠, 이반 발라바노프도 그중 한 명이었고요 그러다가 이 영상을 우연히 보게 되었는데 어, 토르에 관한 것이었죠. 그러니까 그때쯤이었어요, 제 말은 제가 그가 언제 영상을 만들었는지 기억나지 않고 제가 언제 그 영상을 봤는지 정확히 기억나지 않지만 그 영상이 아주 유명한 영상이라는 것을 알았어요. 많은 사람이 아주 잘 알고 있죠. 그 영상들, 즉 바트 벨론이 토르와 함께 훈련 세션을 진행하는 영상이죠 그 개 이름이 토르였던 걸로 기억해요, 그 바이칼라 말리노이즈였죠 그래서 그 훈련 세션은 확실히 매우 완벽해 보였고, 매우 깔끔하고 정확해 보였으며, 개는 강인해 보였어요 그 훈련 세션 내내 개는 정말 강인해 보였죠 그리고 음, 완전히 그냥 정확하면서도 강인해 보였어요
different or it might seem very very familiar so in my case it just seemed very familiar there was still some sort of some sort of behind the curtains type of uh look to it like there was like some sort of veil that just covered the the nepa students right and uh the whole in the public training system so it does have that um that feel to it that exclusiveness feel to it whether it was you know by design or whether it was a byproduct of the system who knows right but this is my perspective again this is only my perspective somebody else might have a completely different perspective other uh nepopo students obviously might have an entirely different perspective than that of which i had prior to going to school and that's sort of you know how it was for me but i was really excited about the opportunity to go because i'll tell you a little bit of of history on um on how i i found out about bart ballon so bart and michael um have this very you know very successful movement right nepopo it's a very successful movement very successful school and um and there there is now a a growing um [Music] it seems to be like a growing um growing movement i mean i guess for lack of better words where you are more and more familiar with the term even if you're not part of it even if you're not part of that uh of the school or if you're even if you're not a graduate you hear nepopa and the pope is becoming more and more of a household term so how i first found out about you know bart it was years ago years ago i mean it was probably back in 2000 um maybe 10 2010 2011 something like that and it was while i was in afghanistan i was in afghanistan i was working with the contract working dogs and i always looked up and i was always reading stuff on on dogs all right so i always on my on the little free time i had i was watching videos i was reading books so i was really really invested in the whole dog training thing i wanted to keep getting better constantly you know i read and saw a bunch of material on on different dog trainers right ivan balabanov was one of them and then i came across this video uh of thor so it was around that time i mean i don't remember when he made the video i don't remember exactly when i when i saw that video but i saw that it's a very famous video a lot of people are very familiar with with the videos video of bart balon doing a training session with with thor i believe that's the dog's name the bicolor malinois so the training session obviously looks very impeccable looks looks very crisp very precise and the dog looked powerful the dog looked very powerful during the entire training session and um totally just precise but it but he looked powerful

그 점이 제게 큰 충격을 주었죠 아시다시피 저는 그때까지 저는 그 시점까지 핸들러나 훈련사가 개에게 동기를 부여해야 하는 것에 익숙해 있었어요, 심지어 작업견조차도요. 그렇죠, 드문 일이 아니었죠. 여전히 흔치 않은 일은 아니에요 훈련사가 개에게 동기를 부여하려고 노력하는 것을 보는 것이요, 그건 드라이브가 아주 낮은 개에게는 제가 할 수 있는... 이해합니다 평범한 반려견은 완전히 이해합니다 하지만 이미 모든 것을 수행할 수 있는 충동과 의욕을 가진 작업견이 있다면 말이죠 그리고 핸들러가 처음부터 정신없이 행동하는 모습을 보면 제가 작업견을 처음 접했을 때부터 항상 머릿속 한구석에서 궁금했던 점이었습니다 왜냐하면 작업견에 있어 중요한 것 중 하나가 핸들러 학교에 가본 적이 있다면 알겠지만요 단일 목적이든 다중 목적이든 핸들러 학교에 가거나 혹은 훈련사 과정을 거칠 때 정말 귀에 못이 박히도록 듣는 것 중 하나는 바로 개에게 칭찬을 해줘야 한다는 것 그리고 개를 정말 신나게 만들어 줘야 한다는 거죠 미국 핸들러들의 가장 기본적인 핸들링 기술인데요 개가 올바른 행동을 하면 보상을 줍니다 보상을 줄 때는 아주 신나게 와! 하면서 아주 들뜬 모습을 보여야 하죠 만약 군견 핸들러나 경찰견 핸들러를 관찰한다면 개들이 훈련을 마치고 경보를 울리면 그 모습을 볼 수 있을 겁니다 개는 콩(장난감)이나 보상을 받고 그 어떤 보상이든 개가 보상을 받는 즉시 핸들러는 아주 크게 축하해 줍니다 그렇게 하는 이유는 바로 그게 아주 머릿속에 박혀 있어요 기억해요 핸들러 학교에 가서 어 워킹 독 훈련 학교에 다녔는데 정말 머릿속에 마치 마치 아시다시피 개가 장난감을 가지고 보상을 받으면 만약 당신이 만약 개를 어 충분히 열정적으로 칭찬하지 않으면 호되게 야단맞곤 했죠 그 훈련사들, 훈련을 감독하는 사람이 당신이 핸들링을 할 때 개에게 보상을 주는데 아시다시피 개를 충분히 칭찬하지 않으면 마치 '지금 뭐 하는 거야? 더 크게 칭찬해야지! 자, 어서, 어서' 하듯이 어서, 개를 더 크게 칭찬하라고 했죠. 기억나요 또 다른 회사에서 일했을 때도요 회사 제가 다녔던 훈련 학교가 아니라 거기서 일하던 때였는데 회사 기억해요 개를 핸들링하고 있었는데 업체 사장이 제가 개를 방어 훈련시키고 있을 때 디코이가 아시다시피 개를 흥분시키고 있었죠 개가 충분히 흥분하지 않으면 그건 마치 핸들러인 제 책임이었어요, 개를 띄워 놓는 게 칭찬하고, 때리고, 온갖 별난 행동을 다 하면서 말이죠 그게 또 머릿속에 박혀 있었죠. 다시 말하지만 워킹 독과 함께 일해봤거나 핸들러였던 사람이라면 제가 무슨 말을 하는지 이해할 거예요
and that made such an impact on me you know i'm i was so used to up to that point i was so used to the the handler the trainer having to you know pump up the dog even a working dog right this it wasn't uncommon it's still not uncommon to see the trainer kind of you know try to pump up a dog which with a very low drive dog i can understand that you ever average pet dog i completely understand that but when you have a a working dog that already has the drive and the desire to do everything and you see the handler you know kind of going all crazy in it from the very beginning of my exposure to working dogs i always thought that in the back of my head i always wondered that because one of the big things with working dogs if you've gone to a handler school okay if you're going to a dog handler school whether it's single purpose or dual purpose um or if you are you know do going through a trainer's course one of the things that is really drilled into you is you have to praise your dog you have to like get him super pumped right staple handling maneuver from american dog handlers the dog does the right behavior you pay the dog and when you pay the dog you party you go woo you get super super pumped if you watch any military working dog handler or police dog handler you'll see this the dog will you know do the exercise will alert the dog receives the kong or the pipe whatever reward it's getting and as soon as the dog gets paid the handler goes a big big party right and the reason that happens is it is drilled into you drilled i remember going to handler school going to uh doctrine school for working dogs and it was drilled like like you know the dog had it get its toy got paid and then if you didn't if you didn't uh praise the dog uh with enough exuberance you will get yelled at the the trainers the person watching the conducting the training if you were handling and you rewarded the dog and you know you didn't like praise the dog enough it was like what are you doing you need to praise the dog more come on come on come on you got to praise the dog more i remember too working for this other company not of the doctrine school that i went to but once i was working for this other company i remember handling the dog right and the owner the owner of the of the business as i was handling the dog for protection and the decoy was you know agitating the dog if the dog wasn't pumped enough like it was my responsibility as the handler to pump the dog up like by praising slapping him doing all kinds of crazy things and i remember like it was dr again it was drilled if you've worked with working dogs if you've been a handler you understand what i'm talking about

그렇죠 그냥 서 있는 것은 지양해야 합니다 마치 개가 보상을 받는 것처럼 당신은 개와 함께 신나게 놀아줘야 하죠 그래서 기억하는데 핸들러로서 때로는 교상 훈련을 할 때 만약 디코이(훈련용 도우미)가 개의 흥분을 충분히 끌어올리지 못하면 그들은 모두 핸들러인 저를 쳐다보며 마치 디코이에게 흥분하도록 개를 고조시키는 것이 제 책임인 것처럼 굴었습니다 디코이에게 말이죠 그중 무엇 하나 제게는 깊이 납득되지 않았습니다 제 속마음으로는요 경력을 시작한 지 얼마 안 되어 경험이 매우 부족했던 시절 저는 스스로에게 질문했던 것을 기억합니다 왜 제가 작업견을 흥분시켜야 하나요 작업견인데 말이죠 본능(drive)을 위해 선별된 개인데 왜 제가 개를 신나게 만드는 것이 제 책임인가요 이런 것을 가지고 놀거나 디코이를 보고 흥분하게 하는 것에 대해 말이죠 아주 근본적인 수준에서 결코 이해가 되지 않았고 저는 항상 이렇게 치부해 버렸습니다 글쎄요 저는 초보니까요 제가 뭘 알겠어요 이 사람들은 20년 동안 이 일을 해온 사람들이잖아요 왜 제가 의문을 가지겠어요 분명히 그들은 이것에 대해 고민해 봤을 테니 이치에 맞겠지 싶었지만 사실은 전혀 아니었습니다 마음 깊은 곳에서는 계속 신경 쓰이는 작은 목소리 같은 것이었죠 그러다가 바트의 그 영상을 봤는데 그는 너무나 그냥 그러니까 그는 그는 모든 힘과 모든 흥분이 개로부터 뿜어져 나오는 것을 볼 수 있었고 그리고 바트는 지시하는 것 그는 보상도 해주고 있지만 그 내내 정말 멋진 퍼포먼스였고 거기서 보면 핸들러가 개에게 반응하고 개는 모든 흥분을 개 스스로 만들어내고 있었죠 그래서 생각했죠, 그래 뭔가가 있구나 그가 하고 있는 무언가가 이 개를 엄청나게 열광하게 만드는구나, 그렇죠? 그리고 일리가 있어요, 워킹독이니까요 그 영상을 봤을 때 저는 스스로 생각했죠, 이걸 적용해야겠다고요 이걸 적용해야지 잘 모르겠지만, 제 말은 제 경력의 이 시점에는 아직 경험이 많지 않았어요, 경험을 쌓아가고는 있었지만 많은 편은 아니었거든요, 그래서 스스로 생각했죠 저걸 똑같이 따라 해야겠다 내가 훈련하는 모든 개에게 똑같이 따라 해야겠다 그렇게 할 수 있도록 노력해야겠다 그랬죠 그래서 제가 한 일은 그냥 탐색을 시작한 거예요 바트 벨론이 나오는 모든 콘텐츠를 보기 시작했죠 제 말은, 인터넷과 유튜브에서 검색했어요 바트 벨론이라고 검색해서 하나하나 다 봤죠, 심지어 아주 짧은 영상이라도요 그 모든 영상을 다 찾아봤어요 바트가 무언가에 대해 이야기하는 짧은 클립이라도 있으면 다 찾아서 보고 필기까지 했어요 그리고 음 그가 말하는 모든 것이 완벽하게 이해가 됐어요, 그래서 저는 그가 말하는 모든 것을 적용하기 시작했죠 영상에서 그가 말하는 것을 내가 듣고 있었던 어 그니까 내 방식대로의 훈련 기억나는 게 아주 긴 영상이 하나 있었는데 러시아에서 찍은 걸로 기억해요 바트가 어떤 교실 같은 곳에서 세미나를 하고 있었는데 사람들이 아주 많았죠 거기에 그리고 [음악]
like it is frowned upon to just stand there like your dog gets paid you got to like party with the dog right so i remember as a handler sometimes you're from bite work like if the if the decoy couldn't pump up the dog enough it was like you know they all looked at me as a handler like it was my responsibility to pump the dog up to get excited about the decoy and none of that deep down made sense to me like very early in my career when i had very low experience very little experience i remember thinking to myself why do i have to pump the a working dog up to working dog it's been selected for drive why is it my responsibility to get the dog excited about playing with this or about getting pumped about the decoy it never made sense to me in a deep deep level and i always brushed it off as well you know i'm new you know what do i know these people have been doing it for 20 years why you know why do i you know obviously they've thought about this so this has to make sense but it didn't make sense deep down it was like a little nagging voice and then i saw that video of bart and he's so just you know he's he's you can see all the power and all the excitement is coming from the dog and bart is directing he is also rewarding but the entire time it was such a nice performance where you see the handler uh respond to the dog and the dog is doing all the all the excitement is coming from the dog and i thought okay there is something he's doing that is that is making this dog super pumped right and it makes sense it's a working dog and when i saw that video what i did is i thought to myself i have to apply this i don't know right i mean at this point in my career i still didn't have as much experience i was accumulating the experience but not a whole lot right so i thought to myself i have to replicate that i have to replicate that with every dog that i work with i have to work towards that all right so what i did is i just went on a quest to watching every piece of content where bart belong was in it i mean i wat i i searched on the internet on youtube i put barbell on just every single even if it was like a like a short short video i went through every single one of those videos if it was short clips where bart was talking about something i was there watching it i was taking notes and um and everything he said made perfect sense i started to apply everything that that i was hearing him say in the videos on uh you know on my approach to training i remember there was this one very long video and i believe it was in russia where bart is doing a seminar in a in a sort of a classroom there's a lot of people there and [Music]

뭐랄까 듣기 힘들다기보다는 음 그니까 바트가 영어로 말하고 있었고 통역사가 있었거든요 그렇죠 통역사요 통역사가 바트가 하는 말을 문장마다 청중들에게 번역해주고 있었죠 그래서 계속 왔다 갔다 하는 상황이라 바트가 쉬지 않고 말하는 유창한 방식은 아니었어요 바트가 말을 하면 잠시 멈춰야 했고 통역사가 번역을 해야 했죠 그게 한 시간 넘게 지속됐던 걸로 기억해요 어떤 사람들은 야 저거 참 번거롭겠네 난 안 볼래 할 법한 일이죠 하지만 저는 그걸 봤을 뿐만 아니라 몇 번이나 돌려봤어요 필기를 하면서 모든 내용을 귀담아들었죠 이건 정말 완벽하게 이해가 됐거든요 그래서 그니까 그 시스템의 전체적인 결과물이 그냥 인상적이었고 정말 훌륭해 보였어요 그렇죠 그러고 나니 다른 훈련사들이 훈련사들이 온갖 말도 안 되는 행동을 하는 게 보이더군요 춤을 추고 움직이며 뭐랄까 모든 이런 기상천외한 동작들을 해야 했죠 상당한 기술이 필요한 트레이너로서의 기술이라기보다는 핸들러나 트레이너의 움직임 측면에서 말이죠 터그를 이리저리 피하면서 개에게 장난감을 건네줘야 했던 저 역시 어느 정도는 그렇게 해야 한다고 생각합니다만 하지만 다른 훈련 시스템에서는 트레이너가 이런 춤추는 기술을 익혀야 했죠 그런데 제가 본 모든 영상 속에서 바트는 춤추는 걸 본 적이 없어요 소위 말하는 '춤' 말이죠 마치 훈련 세션에서 개가 모든 춤을 추는 것 같았어요 개가 모든 훈련과 움직임, 모든 에너지를 개 스스로 발휘했죠 바트는 그저 지시만 내렸습니다 마킹을 하거나 클리커를 쓰거나 아니면 그가 사용하는 릴리스 사운드를 내면 개는 곧바로 반응하며 엄청난 에너지를 보여주었죠 그 모습이 저에게는 매우 흥미롭고 정말 인상 깊었습니다 그래서 계속해서 찾아보고 그 영상들을 다시 돌려보면서 항상 머릿속에 간직했죠 첫 워킹독을 훈련할 때마다 그게 제 목표였습니다 저는 저렇게 보이고 싶었어요 저도 최선을 다해서 할 수 있다면 보여주고 싶었죠 10퍼센트 정도 왔을 때 그가 반려견과 훈련할 때 어떻게 하는지 보면 저도 잘하고 있구나 라는 생각이 들었고, 저는 뭐랄까 딱히 팬보이 같은 건 아니었어요 그러니까 뭐 그가 제 우상이라거나 바트에게 완전히 빠져 있거나 그런 건 전혀 아니었고 그저 그 제품 자체가 제품이 스스로를 증명하죠 그 제품은 그 시스템을 아주 잘 보여주는 광고였어요 그러다가 네포포를 보기 시작했어요 시장에 나오는 것을 보기 시작했고 네포포가 점점 더 인기를 얻어가면서 저는 오 멋진데 꽤 괜찮아 보였어요
it was kind of diffic not difficult to listen to it but um you know bart was talking in english and he had a translator right translator translate what bart was saying sentence by sentence to the crowd and it was just going back and forth so it wasn't like a fluid bar was talking the entire time it was like bart was talking he had to pause the translator had to translate and that went on for like over an hour i believe it's something that you know people will go oh man that seems like a pain i'm not going to watch that but i wa and i not only watched it but i watched it like several times taking notes listening to it listening to everything i was like this makes perfect sense so the whole you know the whole product of his system just looked impressive and it looked just looks very nice right and then i would see other trainers you know do all kinds of crazy things dance and move and like you know do all these crazy maneuvers where there had to be a lot of skill not like skill as a trainer but skill movement wise from the handler from the trainer where you had to like dodge the tug back and forth give the dog the toy which you know again i subscribe to that still to a degree but it's like the trainer and the other systems the trainer had to develop this dancing skill and and you know in in all the videos i saw bart i never saw bart dance you know quote unquote dance it was like training session the dog will do all the dancing right the dog will do all the training all the movement all the power came from the dog bart would just direct mark right clicker uh or or with this with his release sound the heat that he makes right and the doll would just you know release and be all powerful and uh and that to me was very intriguing very very impressive so again i just kept looking i just kept you know watching all these videos re-watching all these videos and i always had in the back of my head and every time that i trained when i got my first working dog that was my aim it was like i want to look like that right i want to do my best if i can own if i can look about you know 10 percent of the way you know he looks with when he's running his dog then then i'm doing good right and i'm not uh you know i'm i wasn't a fan boy none of that right it wasn't like oh you know he he's he's my idol and and you know like i'm in love with bart it was nothing like that it's just the product itself speaks the product speaks for itself the product is such a good advertisement of the system so then then i started to see napopo right then i started to see that coming into the market net popo became more and more popular and i was like oh cool that looks pretty cool

그래서 이제 한번 알아봐야겠다고 생각했고 그러다가 사람들을 보기 시작했는데 사람들이 이런 식으로 발전하는 것을 지켜보고 있었어요 그렇죠 그래서 네포포를 하는 몇몇 사람들이 네포포에 대해 이야기하는 것을 봤고 음 아 그렇구나 멋지네라고 생각했죠 하지만 다시 외부인의 관점에서 보면 매우 배타적으로 보였고 기억에 남는 건 몇몇 골드 졸업생들이 만든 영상들을 봤는데 그들이 이것저것에 대해 이야기하더군요 그래서 저도 그래 그들이 말하는 게 사분면에 대한 것이구나 이건 저도 매우 잘 아는 내용이죠 정적 강화 부적 강화 부적 처벌 정적 처벌 말이죠 그랬죠 고전적 조건형성과 조작적 조건형성은 제가 매우 잘 알고 있는 내용들입니다 왜냐하면 수년간 가르쳐 왔기 때문이죠 제가 스타마트에서 강사로 일할 때 말입니다 그게 제가 가르쳤던 내용 중 하나였어요 그래서 많은 연구를 해야 했고 많은 독서와 더불어 직접 세미나에도 많이 참석해야 했습니다 그리고 복잡한 문헌들을 읽으면서 내용을 완전히 이해하고 가르칠 수 있게 되었죠 그래서 이 모든 내용은 저에게 이해가 잘 되었고, 저는 '좋아, 이건 완벽하게 이해가 돼. 이 사람들이 말하는 건 일리가 있어'라고 생각했습니다 하지만 그들, 그러니까 학생들의 언어는 마치 약간 광신적인 것처럼 느껴졌습니다 저만 그렇게 느끼는 게 아니에요 제가 이야기해 본 다른 사람들, 제가 이야기 나눈 다른 친구들도 똑같은 관점을 가지고 있었죠 마치 '와, 정말 조금 광신적인 것 같아' 하고 말이죠 마치 어떤 신념에 맹목적으로 따르는 것처럼 말이에요. 그래서 저는 '좋아'라고 했죠 그게 맞는 표현이라면요 아무튼 저는 생각했습니다. '좋아, 일리가 있어' 그러니까 제 말은 그 사람은 분명히 그 시스템을 잘 알고 있고, 그 시스템은 분명히 스스로 증명하고 있으니까요 무슨 말인지 이해해요. 그러니까 4분면은 그저 4분면일 뿐이고 완벽하게 이해가 됩니다 고전적 조건형성, 조작적 조건형성도 완벽하게 이해가 돼요 그렇잖아요 그 모든 것을 적용하는 것은 분명히 어 그 본인만의 스타일에 따라 다릅니다. 정적 강화를 어떻게 적용하는지 부적 강화를 어떻게 적용하는지 정적 및 부적 처벌을 어떻게 적용하는지는 또한 여러분의 성격을 어느 정도 보여주며 여러분의 경험을 어느 정도 나타냅니다. 제가 정적 강화를 적용하는 방식과 여러분이 정적 강화를 적용하는 방식은 다를 수 있죠. 정적 강화를 해석하고 적용하는 방식이 어쩌면 케이블 한 조각일 수도 있고 제 정적 강화 적용 방식은 케이블 한 조각일 수도 있고, 나중에는 핫도그 한 조각을 줄 수도 있고 다음 반복 때는 닭가슴살 한 조각을 그다음 반복 때는 닭가슴살 다섯 조각을 주는 큰 잭팟을 터뜨릴 수도 있죠. 10번 반복하면 둘 다 정적 강화이기는 하지만
and um so i was like okay now now i need to look into this and then i started seeing people that were so i was kind of watching this sort of evolve right so then i saw some of the nepopo people talk about napopo and um and i was like oh okay cool but then again from the outsiders perspective it seemed very exclusive and i remember seeing some of the some of the videos made by some gold graduates where they would talk about this this and that and i was like okay yeah they're talking about the quadrants something i'm very familiar with positive reinforcement negative reinforcement negative punishment positive punishment right classical and upward condition and this is stuff that i'm very familiar with because i've taught it for several years when i was an instructor at star mart that was one of the things that i taught so i had to do a lot of research and a lot of reading a lot of attending seminars myself and uh you know and reading complex literature so that i could fully understand it so that i could teach it so this was all stuff that i it was making sense to me i was like okay this makes perfect sense what these people are talking about makes sense uh but but their language the students language it seemed like it was almost a little bit fanatical and i'm not the only one who feels that way okay there are other people that i've talked to other friends that i've talked to that would have the same perspective like oh man like it seems like they're a little bit fanatical right like like they're like subscribing to this like with liberal fanatism so i'm like okay if that's even a word so i was like okay well well it makes sense i mean the guy clearly knows you know the system again the system clearly speaks for it for itself so i understand right i mean the quadrants are the quadrants it makes perfect sense classical conditioning upper condition makes perfect sense you know um the application of all of that obviously it's it's sort of uh unique to your own style how you apply positive reinforcement how you apply negative reinforcement how you apply positive and negative punishment that is also a little bit indicative of your personality a little bit indicative of your experience how you apply positive reinforcement and how i apply positive reinforcement might be different you know your interpretation on your application of positive reinforcement might be you know one piece of cable my application of positive reinforcement might be one piece of cable now a piece of hot dog later a piece of chicken breast another rep five pieces of chicken breast the next rep big jackpot and you know ten reps so there's still positive reinforcement

but the application is different that's sort of it was so always my approach to make it like that this is all came from you know from experience from listening to very experienced people and from watching a lot of content from barbalone right so i thought to myself okay well you know obviously they are very uh they're very uh um almost almost religious right in their in their belief in the system it makes sense i get it it makes sense to me so uh that that was the one thing that i thought to myself why why are these people like that but um anyway so i had the opportunity i went and i remember thinking right when i went as i was driving there i remember thinking oh i'm excited right i'm super excited i'm gonna get to learn from the guy you know and his wife from them themselves right i've been watching the videos and watching the content and now i get to sit in the classroom where this person and his wife right the the people that have really inspired me to to be better every time now now i'm sitting at and now i have a seat at the table now i'm there where i am listening i am part of the crowd i am the one learning i'm taking notes so i was super pumped about it and um and the other part of me was also thinking i wonder what it is that makes some of some of these people a little bit religious i'm gonna keep an eye out for that too so i went and um i gotta tell you my experience was pretty pretty awesome but i have a you know every time i go to a seminar every time i go to any continued education program i always just completely open my mind right i've been to two two formal dog training schools and when i went to the second doctrine school years ago i was willing to unlearn what i had learned previous and i was willing to absorb everything my instructors told me when i went to triple crown now star mark and i learned so much because i was able to completely look at this new information with you know without the without the the filters without the goggles but completely new and then i was able to afterwards combined what i had previously learned and what i had now learned without any filters and now now i had a system right and my experience with the working dogs coupled with my experience with the pet dogs and what i learned at starmark really really um really gave me the edge because again i wasn't i've worked with people especially as an instructor where students would come to starmark with experience but everything they learned they had to filter it through their experience and you could see the struggle there so i i was never like that i was always like i'm going to get rid of the filters and i'm going to absorb everything

okay later i'll decide what i keep and what i don't keep but i'm going to absorb everything i'm not going to look at anything through any goggles and i'm going to get rid of the filters i'm going to take it all in and then afterwards i will combine and then afterwards i will pick out certain things that i really love about the system and i'm gonna maybe uh put some things to the side so when i went to the purple silver i did the same exact thing i was pumped i was super excited and i was just taking notes the entire time that they were talking right sticking notes also prior to silver uh there is homework you know you have the the books that that they tell you that is mandatory reading before you go to the school is the talent code uh and don't shoot the dog so i had read the talent code before uh don't shoot the dog i had started reading it before but i completely thoroughly finished it i can give you a review on don't shoot the dog it's very interesting read but anyway that's a maybe a topic for a different episode but the the other homework that they had is to watch a film uh an old film um on um you know on helen keller and her caretaker and another film on uh on on buck which is a um i believe his name is buck yeah um a horse trainer so i did all of that i'm like yeah i'm definitely gonna do it definitely have got to do an and i'm reading it but i'm also reading this stuff and i'm taking notes and i'm like reading it when i get to the hotel i'm reading it the date the night before because i'm taking this really serious and i'm thinking crap maybe there's going to be a test on it right whatever i go there and i mean the books did come up a couple of times so it was definitely helpful to uh to have that fresh in your mind but i will tell you you know i will say going to silver school with the prior experience the prior knowledge that i already had about classical upper and conditioning the quadrants and uh you know with doctrine and experience i believe that's what helped me get the most out of it i do remember um i mean this is this is a review okay so it is going to uh you know maybe resonate with some of you and maybe it won't but um i do remember having some classmates during the school that were a little bit lost okay where i mean it's a week of theory and it's a very difficult week there are tests every day they're randomly picking people out and go go to the front of the class and i'll talk about this so it was a it was a week where it it was a lot more intense than i than anticipated so it was it was awesome it was it was just really really good but i do remember having some classmates during that week that

things that dogs do by themselves without you asking them to do it with heart and soul not only will they do it with heart and soul but they will fight for those things they will fight for those behaviors right like you know one example that they gave is you know you see dogs right you'll see a dog that will put his nose to the ground and will start you know just tracking right just sniffing with with a lot of intensity with a lot of power and um and that same dog you will even try to pull him away and he will not he'll like it lock up and he'll keep his nose to the ground and some dogs you'll even correct them to not pull them away from the ground and they'll still keep fighting you for it that same dog at a different time in the day when you ask him to track because you're working for you know something in regards to tracking that same dog will act like tracking is the most boring thing in the world will not track for you and what is it then that that same dog moments earlier was so passionate about tracking but then when you do it with them they're not this is you know not a rhetorical question for the listener to go well you know obviously you know you're looking at tracking human and then you got that could have been tracking wildlife obviously the wildlife is more important we're not talking about those little reasons we're talking about the dog doing that behavior okay with a lot of intensity on their own with a lot of power tail up super pumped but when you do a track it's like you're having to like do all these kinds of crazy things for the dog to even mildly look interested in tracking same thing with a retrieve right how many times do you see a dog these are just little examples that they'll grab anything like they'll just grab some random stick of a branch that even that's not even smooth it's got like it's got like jagged edges and everything so we'll grab it with a lot of intensity and just have a nice full um stronghold on it and they'll even bring it to you for you to throw it but then that same dog when you try to work on a retrieve they act like putting anything in their mouth is disgusting and there are so many examples like that where a dog on his own will tell you i want to do this with a lot of power but when you tell them to do when you teach them to do those things when you quote unquote teach them to do those things they go i don't know what were you talking about i don't know what to do again it's not all rhetorical if you're an anti-nippopo person you're probably thinking oh well that's simple because this that's not for you okay if you are very anti-barbalone if you're very anti in a purple

um yeah this is not gonna make sense you're just gonna find a bunch of holes because that's the perspective you already have listening to this but if you open up and you really think about those things right there are a lot of things that dogs do spontaneously on their own with a lot of power but why is it that when we step in and we go okay we're gonna show you how to do something that you already know how to do they go i don't i don't know how to do that i don't and if i do know how to do it i'm not gonna give you any power and and here's the the short of the long right this is the the bit of the conclusion as to why that happens dogs when it's their idea when it's their idea when it's their creation when it's their behavior that they figure out for themselves it's more important than when it's your idea if it's their idea they're more powerful normally are they more powerful for it they will fight you for it they'll go no i i have to do this just like the dog you tell the dog hey to drop that stick double not drop the stick right like hey dude get off that get you know kitchen off the ground nose off the ground we're gonna do something else that goes no no i want to keep my nose on the ground then later it's like you have to fight them to put their nose on the ground another example and i experienced this myself with some of my club members like some dogs like will will try to work on them barking and their bark is like you know very like weak right and it's like these dogs don't even know how to bark and you're like okay dude let's do this you know let's do this okay park and and a lot of times it works without our techniques but then you have some thoughts that it's a little bit of a struggle they're like like give you this baby bark like they're learning how to talk but then moments earlier or moments later that same dog will not shut up and they give you the most powerful barks the most intense and powerful barks on their own with heart and soul with passion but when you go okay dude uh let's do a session where you bark they do this really pathetic bark and like you're trying to like get them to bark a little bit more and a little bit more and a little bit more so that's the whole concept of napopo is how do we make these dogs do something with heart and soul is by improving their situation right by making it so that so that the uh the system revolves around around them improving their situation about them creating these behaviors and um you know it does seem you know i have thought about it myself and i've talked to a couple of friends you know prior to this well we've talked about this and we go yeah man it's like like the tuition for

that for that school seems to be pretty high and then you go it's like it's just five days and you know it's you're not even bringing your dog but i'm telling you if you just go there with an open mind you know with your eyes wide open and your ears wide open and you're ready to take notes and absorb and think about this information it really is it really is um i would even i would even say it's definitely a game changer and yes the quadrants are the quadrants classical conditioning is classical conditioning upper and conditioning is operant condition learning theory is the same but i think of this system and this you know this workshop of the seminar or at this school as imagine that somebody taught you how to cook and the person that taught you how to cook was a good cook and you know they taught you how to make let's say something simple right like um i don't know maybe maybe a stew they tell you how to make a stew and to the average person like you know they go hey make us do them i don't even know where to begin so i'm just gonna have somebody make this too for me and you are the person that makes this too you learn how to do it and then through the years of you making that stew you developed your own style of making your stew and it tastes delicious it tastes amazing and you have your own way right and it's great the same ingredients right the fundamentals of cooking are the same temperature ingredients mixture of ingredients the concept is the same but then you hear about this this uh way of of cooking and you know call it whatever you want the system and you hear people going hey you know like have you made a stew this way that you know that this system or the way that this five-day seminar tells you how to make a stew and you're like dude it's a stew i mean it's not that complex it's just it's a stew you know it's just the same dish and you're like and the person goes yeah it is but but it just gives you that extra punch on that recipe and you see these people like very very enamored with that with that you know stew recipe i'm like dude you gotta go learn from this chef how to make the stew and let bummer stew already tastes good a lot of people like it you go and and you're like well crap now i'm going to go and i'm going to relearn how to make a stew and now my recipe that i made to for years now suddenly doesn't work is complete garbage i don't know how i feel about that you go you sit down and you're half expecting that the recipe is not brand new because it will you know it will tell you your stew was really crap the entire time um but at the same time you're kind of half expecting also i hope it is

different because you know it is a week of my time it is an investment of resources to be here for a week so that i could learn something new and i don't want to learn the same thing so you go there you sit there and the chef goes all right guys here's how we make this do and you realize as they're telling you this they tell you your ingredients are the same you know okay what's the same ingredients and they tell you the utensils are the same oh okay well okay so so far i'm validated and what i've been doing so far so that that's good and then they go [Music] here's a slightly different application and maybe they go you know instead of uh starting the traditional way where you put where you you know where you put the uh the the ingredients here and then you heat it up and then you add the you know you add the seasonings i don't know how to make this too i'm just making this up but if they tell you they tell you this is how normally people make us do here is one way that we found out that we found the mix that gives the stew that extra punch same ingredients right same utensils you don't have to buy any any new utensils same utensils same ingredients all right but the order of the ingredients is a little bit different so if you tweak your recipe a little bit suddenly it gives that recipe much of a punch it gives it an extra kick and you're like oh and so that makes it if i just change this and this when i make this two it gives it an extra punch that makes perfect sense to me so what happened is you didn't go there and they told you forget about your stew your crap it's complete garbage these are the wrong ingredients you have to come up with these brand new ingredients right it wasn't like that now if you're a really incompetent dog trainer if you're really bad at making stew uh then that might be the case they might tell you then the information that you get there might be like oh crap i've been doing it wrong the entire time but that wasn't the case when i went there like i went there and i was like wow it's like this makes so much sense and now i know why there were some things that i did really well prior right that i did really really well and i knew that it was predictably you know it was consistent if i did this way the dog will give me this performance every time but when i went here to nepopo silver it was like i was told this is why this is the reason why predictably you get this result and now i'm like that makes that makes sense why that happened that way with all the dots that i trained okay so there wasn't a whole lot of like unlearning and and discarding a lot of stuff as much of there there was more of a

oh the approach makes sense so that week was very intellectual there was there was a lot of a lot of talking and teaching on dopamine endorphins there were studies and experiments cited throughout the week so it wasn't just like uh you know knuckle dragging here is how you hold the leash here's how you do this here's what you do then and you do that and then voila you get this result it wasn't like that it was like a very intellectual workshop and that's what i got out of it it was very very intellectual it was like this is the reason why that happens this is the reason why this happens which we want that to happen and here's the reason why it looks that way when people do it without realizing it and like that makes perfect sense like so obviously i can't go over a whole lot of details not because um not because i'm forbidden to go over over details it was it's nothing like that you know the other thing too that that uh seems to be the case with with the napopo system is it seems secretive like people are like oh you know that that's a secret like like you you got to be blessed with the with the gold stamp to know this this and that um and it's you know really not because because there's nothing like again there's no like necessarily like a um you know this is like the saving uh you know recipe but a lot of it just makes perfect sense the approach is very unique okay i'm gonna say that the approach is very unique bart and michael didn't come up with like this um completely um you know un un real and and god sent way to do things uh it was rather here is an application that is very unique here's an application that makes perfect sense that actually makes sense it's not like it wasn't like um you just have to trust us this is this is how we do it right this is a bart and michael do it and you just have to do it that way and and you will have the same results they say you have to you have to do it this way and you have to trust us you don't have to ask why you can't ask why you just have to do it that way and you always have to teach it that way and this is the way that's that's very religious and they're not like that at all i think they somehow um you know the nepoba system got a little bit of a reputation for being religious and i know this from my perspective prior to okay it has this reputation of being very religious um which you know it's not a good thing when you think of religion and you go well you know this is a religious way like the people that are religious about dog training they're terrible right you got systems i'm not gonna name names but there are systems that uh they're like we have to do it

this way period i know there are systems like that okay there are systems like that where the the people doing the system and the people that do the certifications of those systems they tell you no no you have to do it this way this is the way he did it 50 years ago this is the way he wrote it in the books and this is the way you have to do it and this is the way it's always worked and this is the way it's always going to work and every other system outside of that is not good that's religious and that that's bad in my opinion that's bad i found that to i didn't find that to be the case with napopo truly that was not the case with nepal there was no um you know one of my friends when i told him yeah i'm going to go into papa all right um one of my friends he's like he's a good friend of mine somebody i trust he's a good trainer too you know as joking he said all right man that's cool i'm excited for you he's like don't drink the kool-aid but that was sort of like the joke right it was like it was it was a joke but at the same time you hear about this from outsiders or you know it's the kool-aid and it's like it's a religion but it truly i'm telling you from my experience as a student it wasn't the case at all none in the least there is nothing religious about the system it's just a bunch of strategies that make perfect sense just make perfect sense so um i mean and i'll even tell you what bart and michael said at the end of the week they told us they were like you know other systems work great when applied properly all their systems work great you can be a good dog trainer if use a different system your dog will look really good if you're not a good dog trainer it doesn't matter what system you use your dog is not going to look very good right so you have to have the experience but other systems work really really well and they said do not criticize other systems what religion does that other dog training systems do that i know it and some of you guys know it there are other dog training systems the so and so method of dog training system right like they'll mock any other system that doesn't fit their book that doesn't fit their criteria they straight up do the purely positive trainers do the same thing they're like oh you know if you do this this and that you're not a dog trainer that is super religious and then you got bart and michael going every other system works great if applied properly what religion does that what religious movement uh would do that they don't and so the purpose of this episode is to to get that um you know at least so the people that listen to this episode to get that um you know that that weird feel about napobo

제가 경험으로 안다는 걸 아실 겁니다, 알아요 경험으로 잘 알아요, 좋아요 자 제가 여기 와서 세례를 받고 이제 와서 무슨 교주라도 된 건 아니에요 절대 그런 거 아니고요, 그냥 제 경험을 말씀드리는 것뿐이에요 제 경험상, 아주 중립적인 관점에서 말이죠 시스템은 정말 최고예요, 아주 놀라워요, 아시죠? 마크, 바트, 그리고 마이클은 정말 대단한 선생님들이에요 그리고 그곳에선 모든 게 완벽하게 이해가 돼요 종교적인 요소는 정말 전혀 없어요 어, 그들은 말했죠, 아시다시피 모든 시스템은 올바르게 적용되기만 하면 잘 작동한다고, 그리고 그들은 우리에게 하지 말라고 했어요 다른 시스템을 조롱하거나 비난하지 말라고요 그럴 필요 없어요, 아시잖아요, 그건 지극히 정상적인 거예요 그 말을 들었을 때 그건 정말이지, 아시다시피 이 전체 과정에 대해 정말 기분 좋게 만들어 줬어요 저는 생각했죠, 이거 정말 끝내주게 멋지다고요, 그러고 나서 제가 거기를 나와서 차를 몰고 돌아오면서 생각했죠 왜 어떤 사람들은 그렇게 종교적이고 이상하게 구는지 이해가 안 가요 말이 안 되잖아요 왜냐하면 그 일주일간의 제 경험과 바트와 마이클이 다양한 시스템에 대해 이야기하는 것을 들어본 바로는 저는 전혀 느끼지 못했거든요 바로 그런 면이요, 전혀 없었어요 그들의 접근 방식이나 그들이 말한 내용에는 광신적인 면이 없었어요 어쨌든, 그냥 그것에 관한 에피소드를 만들고 싶었어요 정말 훌륭한 경험이었어요 저는 벌써 적용하고 있어요 그 주에 배운 것을요, 벌써 네포포(Nepopo) 시스템을 제 반려견들에게 적용하고 있고, 벌써 적용하고 있어요 제 고객들의 반려견에게도요 그리고 우리는 힘을 보기 시작했어요, 제가 확실히 말할 수 있어요, 알겠죠? 제가 확실히 말할게요 저는 힘을 보기 시작했어요 그 힘을 보기 시작했어요, 그 어... 그 힘은 어 그 흥분은 제가 그 주에 배운 것들을 적용해보는 것만으로도 충분히 가치 있는 일이었습니다 가길 잘했다는 생각이 듭니다 그분들이 마지막이라고 말씀하시긴 했지만 음, 다른 수강생분들이 앞으로 더 많은 세미나를 열 예정이니까 기회가 된다면 그 시스템을 배워보시는 걸 추천합니다
that i know outsider staff i know this from experience okay all right now guy didn't go here get baptized and and now i'm like a purple preacher nothing like that at all i'm just telling you my experience from my experience from a very you know very neutral perspective the system is awesome it's amazing you know mark bart and michael are awesome teachers and it just makes perfect sense there truly is nothing religious about it uh they said you know every system works great when applied properly and they told us do not mock do not criticize other systems you don't want to do that you know it's perfectly fine and that was when they said that that really you know it really made me feel good about this whole thing i was like you know this is freaking awesome and then i i came out of that you know i drove back and i was thinking i don't get why some people are so religious and and weird about this doesn't make sense because from my experience that week and from listening to bart and michael talking about different systems i got nothing about that right there was nothing there was nothing fanatic about their approach or anything they said so anyway i just wanted to make an episode on that it was a great experience and i'm already applying what i learned that week i'm already applying the the nepopo system to my personal dogs i'm already applying it to my clients dogs and we are starting to see power i can tell you this okay i'm starting to see power i'm starting to see that that uh that strength that uh that excitement by just applying some of the things that i learned during that week so it was definitely worth it i'm glad i went and they did say it was their last but um you know there are other students are going to be doing more seminars so i suggest that if you get the opportunity to learn learn the system you
