Cathedral Academy 구성원들은 전 세계적인 위기 상황 속에서 화상 회의를 통해 상호 안부를 확인하고 결속을 다진다. 교직원들은 서로의 가정과 전 세계 사람들을 위해 기도를 나누며 영적인 지혜를 구한다. 성경 구절인 골로새서 1장 9절과 10절의 내용을 바탕으로 주께 합당하게 행하고 선한 열매를 맺으며 하나님을 아는 지식에 자라가야 함을 공유한다. 미지의 상황을 마주한 구성원들은 그리스도 안에서 하나로 연결되어 있다는 정체성을 다시 확인한다. Cathedral Academy는 학교의 고유한 협력 정신과 가족적인 분위기를 지키며 어려운 시기를 함께 극복하고자 한다. 학교 측은 필요한 정보만을 선별하여 소통하고 구성원들의 안녕을 위해 지속적으로 기도하며 도움의 손길을 내밀 준비를 한다.

안녕하세요 여러분, 아니면 오후나 저녁일 수도 있겠네요, 이 메시지를 언제 확인하시느냐에 따라 다르겠죠. 잠시 시간을 내어 이 특별한 시기에 우리 모든 가족과 직원분들께 연락을 드리고 싶었습니다. 오늘 아침 Cathedral Academy 직원들은 줌 회의를 통해 모일 기회를 가졌고 그 시간 동안 여러분을 위해 기도했고 여러분의 가정을 위해 기도했으며, 서로를 위해 기도하고, 특히 이 시기에 전 세계 사람들을 위해 간절히 기도했습니다. 또한 함께 성경을 읽고 서로 안부를 묻고 밝은 얼굴을 마주하며 웃음소리를 들을 수 있는 기회였고 비록 가상 회의를 통한 만남이었지만 함께할 수 있다는 것 자체가 여전히 축복이었습니다. 이 시기에 제가 가장 좋아하는 성경 구절 중 하나가 떠오르는데, 골로새서 1장 9절과 10절 말씀입니다. 바울은 골로새 교회의 친구들에게 감사하며 이렇게 기록했습니다. 그는 말하기를, 이로써 우리도 듣던 날부터 너희를 위하여 기도하기를 그치지 아니하고 너희로 하여금 모든 신령한 지혜와 총명에 하나님의 뜻을 아는 것으로 채우게 하시고 주께 합당하게 행하여 범사에 기쁘시게 하고 모든 선한 일에 열매를 맺게 하시며 하나님을 아는 것에 자라게 하시고 여러모로 지금은 우리 중 많은 이들에게 매우 힘든 시기입니다. 우리는 어떻게 이 미지의 상황을 헤쳐 나가야 할지 고민하고 있습니다. 여러분은 사랑받고 있으며 기도받고 있고 그리워하고 있다는 점을 알아주세요. 우리는 여전히 하나님께서 주관하고 계시며 그분은 경외로우시고 강력한 분임을 믿습니다. 우리는 이곳에서 당신을 위해 있습니다. 혹시라도 도와드릴 일이 있다면 언제든 저희에게 알려주시길 바랍니다. 비록 우리가 육체적으로 함께 있지는 못해도 우리는 가족이며 그리스도 안에서 하나로 연결되어 있습니다. 제가 Cathedral Academy에 대해 정말 사랑하는 점 중 하나는 그 정신과 분위기, 가족, 협력 관계입니다. 그러니 다시 한번, 저희가 무엇이든 도와드릴 수 있다면 알려주십시오. 그동안 안전하게 지내시고 곧 다시 이야기 나눕시다. 매일 너무 많은 이메일을 보내지 않으려고 노력하고 있습니다. 그저 꼭 필요한 정보만 보내드리고 여러분과 계속 연결되어 있음을 느끼게 해드리고 싶습니다. 여러분을 생각하며 매일 기도하고 있다는 것을 알아주세요. 우리는 여러분을 사랑합니다. 조만간 다시 이야기해요. 축복받은 오후, 평안한 저녁 시간 보내세요. 안녕히 계세요.
good morning everybody or afternoon or evening I guess it depends on when you get this message I just wanted to take a minute and reach out to all of our families and staff through this unique time this morning the Cathedral Academy staff had the opportunity to get together via a zoom meeting and during that time we prayed for you we prayed for your family had a chance to pray for each other and really prayed for people all around the world during this time we also had the chance to read scripture together and had a chance just to touch base and see smiling faces and hear laughing voices and just be together all be it through a virtual meeting it was still just a blessing to get to do that during this time one of my favorite scriptures comes to mind is Colossians chapter 1 is verses 9 and 10 and Paul is thanking his friends in the church at Colossae and he writes this he says for this reason also since the day we heard it we have not ceased to pray for you and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will and all spiritual wisdom and understanding so that you may walk in a manner worthy of a lord to please him in all respects bearing fruit in every good work and increasing the knowledge of God in many ways this is a very trying time for so many of us as we try to figure out how to navigate these unchartered waters please know that you are loved you're prayed for you're missed we do believe that God is still in control and he is awesome he's powerful we were here for you we want you to know if there's anything we can do to help you please reach out and let us know although we may not be together physically we are on family or we are connected in Christ one of the things I love so much about Cathedral Academy is the spirit the atmosphere the family the partnership so again if there's anything we can do for you let us know in the meantime be safe we'll talk soon I'm trying not to send too many emails each and every day you just want to send the pertinent information and keep you connected knowing that you're being thought of and prayed for each and every day we love you guys talk to you soon have a blessed afternoon blessed evening bye-bye
